According to the organizing committee of China International Digital Economy Expo, 2022 China International Digital Economy Expo will be held online from Nov. 16 to 18. This Expo will closely follow the theme of integrating innovation and digital empowerment, hold the opening ceremony and theme summit, 30 parallel forums, 4 competitions, 3 industry matchmaking activities, 1 innovation achievements release and award activities, invite 24 academicians and more than 300 heavyweight guests to gather in the cloud, focus on the directions of high-end, internationalization, specialization and industrialization, discuss the new trends of the global digital economy, and share the digital feast and talk about the digital future.

■ High-end: 23 domestic and foreign government officials + 24 academicians

The Expo invited 23 domestic and foreign government officials, including Ban Ki-moon, president of the Boao Forum for Asia and former secretary-general of the United Nations, 24 academicians, including Jack Dongarra, winner of the Turing Prize and academician of the National Academy of Engineering, as well as leaders of state-owned key enterprises and industry leaders, such as China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, Baidu, Alibaba, Huawei, ZTE, to attend the opening ceremony, the Summit Forum and other related activities.

■ Internationalization: 6 ambassadors to China + 13 international guests

Six ambassadors from Türkiye, Thailand, Poland, Serbia and others to China, 13 international guests including experts and scholars from famous universities and research institutions such as Universität Leipzig in Germany, will attend seven forums, including international cooperation in digital economy, China-ASEAN smart industry and finance development, and international smart medical innovation trends, to carry out in-depth exchanges and smart collisions, and explore new space for international digital economic cooperation.

■ Specialization: 30 parallel forums + 15 authoritative research reports

The Expo will focus on information intelligence, industrial Internet, 5G, digital commerce, digital culture, digital sports, digital village and other key fields, and hold 30 parallel forums, including "5G+industrial Internet", "digital transformation and development", "big data and artificial intelligence applications", and "network and data security industry development", 15 authoritative research reports will be released, including the 2022 China Digital Economy Development Research Report, the China Digital Commerce Development Index Report (2021), and the Digital Economy and Rural Revitalization Development Research Report (2022). 17 national institutions and industry organizations in the field of digital economy, including China Federation of Internet Societies, China Federation of Electronics and Information Industry , China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China Center for Information Industry Development, National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, China Electronics Standardization Institute, China Institute of Communications, Chinese Institute of Electronics, Network Security Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China International E-commerce Center, China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, China Software Industry Association and others participated in the event.

■Industrialization: 4 national professional competitions + 50 innovation achievement awards

Focusing on project cooperation and achievements transformation, the Expo will hold several matchmaking activities including China's outstanding Internet enterprises, universities affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the development of Hebei Shenzhen UAV industry. Guided by industrial demand, four national-level professional competitions will be held, including China Big Data Competition, "Create China Chips" Integrated Circuit Innovation Challenge, Privacy Protection Computing Competition, and the first China Intelligent Internet Connected Vehicle Data and Privacy Security Skills Competition. A batch of new technologies, new models, and new formats with strong independent innovation and good application prospects will be selected. Publicly soliciting new technologies, new products, new models, new scenarios and new achievements in the field of digital economy globally, selecting 50 innovation achievement awards of China International Digital Economy Expo, and preparing the Case Collection of Innovation Achievement of China International Digital Economy Expo, which will be presented to the world in a three-dimensional manner through various media to amplify the spillover effect of the Expo.
